Step-by-Step process

On the day of your appointment at the Eurofins Laboratory - Sevilla in Sevilla, the lab staff will proceed with the DNA sample collection:

1. A buccal swab is gently rubbed on the inside of your cheek for about 30 seconds to collect epithelial cells.
2. The collected samples are clearly labeled and safely stored.
3. The samples are then sent for analysis.

Results

Once the sample is collected and sent for analysis, the expert team at Megalab will prepare the results report, which will be available in approximately 15 business days*.

*This timeframe may be extended due to technical factors related to the complexity of the analysis or findings that require confirmation before the report is issued.

The Megalab genetics team will guide you through accessing your results:

• You will receive a secure access code to log into your private area.
• From there, you can check the status of your results report.
• If the results are not yet available, the status will appear as "pending”.
