Doppler ultrasound is a technique that combines the use of ultrasound and Doppler. This test makes it possible to evaluate the blood flow in the veins, thereby quantifying the flow velocity, the diameter of the vessel, the presence of atheroma plaques, inflammatory lesions, etc. It provides a large amount of haemodynamic and morphological data on the venous system.
