High-precision breast ultrasound is a non-invasive, non-radiation test, making it a safe and effective option for understanding breast health.

To perform the ultrasound, your doctor will apply a gel to the skin of your breast, over which a hand-held device, called a transducer, will glide. In some cases, you may be asked to raise your arms above your head and lie on your side to inspect the entire area. The device sends sound waves into the breast tissue, which will be projected as an image on the ultrasound machine's screen.

Only you and the doctor will be present during the test to ensure your privacy and comfort.

Once you have purchased the test, you will receive a voucher in your mailbox with all the necessary data, invoice and information. You should call the telephone number included in the voucher, or contact the Operarme team, to arrange the date that best suits you for the diagnostic test.
