In tympanoplasty procedures, local anaesthesia with sedation is typically used. However, in some cases, general anaesthesia may be administered, depending on the surgeon's evaluation.

Once the tympanoplasty surgery is complete, you will be moved to the post-operative recovery room, where you will recover from the effects of the anaesthesia under the supervision of the nursing staff.
