What is included?

  • When you purchase the service, the diagnostic test will be performed at the selected hospital and city.

  • Once the test is completed, the center will inform you how long it will take to receive the results and will provide them in digital format.

Each center has its own method for delivering results: some will send them by email, while others use their own apps or online platforms. In any case, the staff at the center will explain how to access them once your scan is finished.

  • In Spain, a medical prescription is required to undergo any diagnostic test. If you don’t have one, don’t worry — we can offer this as an additional service (+€10) through a remote consultation with a specialist.

Below, we explain the process step by step, whether you already have a prescription or not:

If you have a medical prescription:

    • Purchase the test as usual.
    • Right after your purchase, we will send you instructions by email (to the address used during checkout) on how to submit your medical prescription so we can schedule your appointment.
    • The prescription will allow us to verify that the diagnostic test you selected matches the one prescribed by your doctor.
    • We will arrange your appointment, including the date and time, so you can go to your chosen hospital for the test.

If you do not have a medical prescription:

    • If you don’t have a prescription, Operarme can arrange a call consultation with one of the doctors at Centro Médico Caser, for an additional cost of €10.
    • During the consultation, you’ll be able to inform the doctor about the test you need. Depending on the test, they may request a medical report related to your condition.
    • If you don’t have a prescription or any supporting documents for the diagnostic test, you may be referred to an in-person consultation. If that happens, please contact us so we can guide you on how to proceed.

Remember: On the day of the test, you must bring and present your Operarme voucher and medical prescription.

  • If you decide not to proceed with the test after purchasing it, or if the appointment date doesn’t suit your schedule, you can request a refund.
In these cases, we will refund 100% of your payment without any issues.

To do so, please contact our Patient Service team before the date of the appointment, and we’ll process your refund quickly and easily.

Information of CT scan (2 regions)

At Operarme, you can book a CT Scan (2 Regions) for 189 €.

This diagnostic imaging test is essential for obtaining detailed images of two specific areas of the body, helping your doctor determine the most accurate diagnosis and appropriate treatment.

02. What is a CT scan (two regions)?

A CT Scan (Computed Tomography) is an imaging technique that uses X-rays and computer technology to capture detailed images of two specific areas of the body, such as the chest, abdomen, head, or limbs.

This procedure allows doctors to accurately examine multiple regions in a single test, improving diagnostic efficiency and precision.

Unlike MRI scans, CT scans are better suited for viewing bones and lungs, whereas MRI is typically used to examine soft tissues.

Features and how the CT scan works

  • High-resolution imaging: The CT scanner uses rotating X-ray equipment to capture images from multiple angles around the body. These images are then combined to create detailed cross-sectional views of the selected anatomical regions.
  • Comprehensive and accurate diagnosis: This scan is ideal for detecting fractures, tumors, infections, blood clots, and other structural abnormalities in two different body areas, offering a more complete picture of the patient’s health.
  • Simultaneous evaluation of two areas: By examining two anatomical regions in a single session, the Double CT Scan reduces the need for additional tests, saving time and limiting unnecessary radiation exposure.
  • Fast and safe procedure: Typically lasting between 10 and 15 minutes, the scan is non-invasive, making it a comfortable and efficient experience for the patient.

03. How is the CT scan performed?

On the day of the test, you will go to the clinic for your CT Scan (2 regions)

The procedure will follow these steps:

  1. You will lie down on the CT scanner table. The technician will explain the procedure and ask you to remain still during the scan. Staying still is important to ensure the clarity and quality of the images.
  2. Once you're positioned on the table, it will slowly move through the CT scanner, which will rotate around the anatomical regions being examined.
  3. CT scan of two anatomical regions usually takes between 20 and 30 minutes, depending on the specific areas being scanned and whether multiple images are needed from different angles.
  4. After the scan is complete, you can get up from the table and resume your normal activities right away.

04. What should you know before booking the test?

To undergo the scan, you must have a medical referral.

If you don’t have one, please contact our Patient Service Team for assistance. You can reach us by calling at +34 91 141 33 56 or by filling out this contact form.

After purchasing the scan, you will receive a voucher by email containing all necessary information, including the invoice and instructions. You will need to call the phone number provided in the voucher, or contact the Operarme team to schedule the appointment at the time that suits you best.
