The Alex® Test is the most advanced in vitro diagnostic test (performed outside the body) for the simultaneous detection of specific IgE antibodies against 300 allergenic proteins and 132 molecular components present in more than 50 different allergens.

• The simultaneous analysis of 300 allergenic proteins and 132 molecular components allows for the precise and rapid identification of the allergens responsible for your clinical symptoms from just a small blood sample (1 ml of serum or plasma).

This test is performed after at least 4 hours of fasting and involves the subsequent collection of a small blood sample to be analyzed in the laboratory.

After the sample is taken, the analysis consists of checking whether the blood reacts to different raw allergen extracts, whether purified from their natural source or recombinant, allowing for better standardization of the diagnosis.

Allergens are grouped according to the characteristics of their proteins. This has important clinical relevance, as it allows differentiation between:

• Very high reaction: Very high IgE level (> 15 kU/L)
