The Everli Basic Prenatal Test is a non-invasive prenatal screening recommended for expectant mothers who are at high risk of aneuploidies. A high risk is considered when one or more of the following conditions are met:

• Advanced maternal age (over 30 years old)
• Ultrasound findings suggesting aneuploidy
• Previous pregnancy with a trisomy
• Positive results from first or second trimester prenatal screening
• Presence of balanced Robertsonian translocations in either parent involving chromosomes 13 or 21.

It can be performed starting from the 10th week of pregnancy. In cases of pregnancies through egg donation or twin pregnancies, it will be performed starting from the 12th week (sexual aneuploidies cannot be reported).

The Everli Non-Invasive Prenatal Test is recommended for pregnant women with at least 10 weeks of gestation, who have either a single or twin pregnancy, including pregnancies through egg donation.

In the case of twin pregnancies, only chromosomes 21, 18, and 13 will be analyzed. This means that sexual aneuploidies will not be detected, and fetal sex will be reported only if one of the babies is male, or both babies are female.

Step-by-step of the Everli Test

Before proceeding with the test, it is advisable to have an ultrasound to determine the exact date of the pregnancy and avoid potential anomalies that may alter the test parameters and lead to incorrect results.
