La Salud Hospital

La Salud Hospital is a Catholic university center whose origins date back more than 100 years. In 1895, Dr. Manuel Candela, an eminent doctor of the Valencian society of the time, built the Gynecological Institute that shortly after would become La Salud Hospital that we know today.

During that time, the Sisters of Charity of Santa Ana worked as health personnel until they became the owners of the center in 1914. Since then, the hospital has not stopped growing until today, carrying out extensions, adaptations and remodeling with the aim of offering its patients the best technical-health care quality. The last remodeling was inaugurated in 1997, its purpose being to incorporate numerous outpatient consultations in the hospital.

In this way, the capacity of La Salud Hospital is made up of more than 200 hospitalization beds in addition to numerous rooms for all kinds of medical diagnoses and treatments.

Since 2006, La Salud Hospital has had an agreement with the Catholic University of Valencia for the training of nursing students, medical students (2007) and other professionals in training in all areas related to health sciences.
