Dr. Jorge Solana Carné

Dr. Jorge Solana Carné is a specialist in traumatology and orthopaedic surgery of the foot, ankle, shoulder and elbow, having completed specialisation stays in Florida (USA), Bordeaux (France) and Gravesano (Switzerland), as well as having worked as a consultant for the Security Forces Hospital in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. Dr. Solana is bilingual, Spanish and English, and is currently in charge of the foot and ankle unit at the IMED Hospital in Elche.

Since graduating in medicine and surgery in the mid-1990s, Dr. Jorge Solana Carné has dedicated his life to specialising in traumatology, specialising in Traumatology and Orthopaedics via MIR at the ASEPEYO Teaching Unit of the Hospital Sant Rafael in Barcelona and obtaining his degree in 2001. After that, he has worked in several hospitals, being able to highlight his work as Head of the Foot and Ankle Surgery Unit as well as being part of the team of the Shoulder Unit of the Torrevieja Hospital for 3 years and his current position as Head of the Foot and Ankle Unit in the IMED Hospital in Elche, as we have already mentioned.

On the other hand, as we mentioned in the first paragraph, Dr. Jorge Solana Carné worked as a consultant in orthopaedics and traumatology at the Security Forces Hospital of Dammam in Saudi Arabia, where he was responsible for the foot, ankle and shoulder unit, as well as being part of the polytrauma staff in the emergency medical team for a year.
