Dr. Raventós Busquets completed his medical studies at the University of Barcelona, where he obtained the Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery degree in 1993. At the same university he studied He completed his doctoral studies, achieving Cum Laude qualification in November 2011 with the work “Clinical applications of the relationship between free PSA and Total PSA”
Specialized in Urology, specifically in laparoscopic and robotic surgery as well as medical procedures. as in the new techniques of laser surgery for the treatment of prostatic hyperplasia.
At the Vall d´Hebron Hospital in Barcelona, Dr. Raventós performed the role of Dr. He continued his work activity as a resident physician until January 2000. Since 2004 he has been a physician in the Urology and Renal Transplant Service at this hospital. He has also worked as Clinical Manager at Hospital Plató from Barcelona.
He has received accreditation as a Fellow of the European Board of Urology by the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS). Since 2006 he has been an associate professor of Urology at the Autonomous University of Barcelona. It is currently specialized in laparoscopic surgery and laser techniques in Urology.
He also speaks fluent English, and therefore, he’s used to treating expat patients.
