• What happens if I go to the clinic without a prescription?

  If you attend without a prescription, you won’t have the ultrasound done. It’s likely that the hospital staff may refer you to a private consultation first. This consultation is not included in the price of the Ultrasound test you purchase on Operarme’s website and it is possible that the cost of the consultation at the hospital is higher than the preferential price published on our website for Operarme patients.

  If you need a prescription, you can first purchase and attend a private consultation with one of our specialists and tell the doctor about the symptoms you have; if the doctor considers an arterial doppler ultrasound is necessary, he/she will hand you a prescription for the test.

• How long does it take to get the results?

  The delivery of results is different in each clinic/hospital, so you will be informed of this on the day of the test. You can also ask when you call the centre to make an appointment for the test.
