Dr. Jesús Manuel Muñoz Caro

Dr. Muñoz Caro has a degree in Medicine and Surgery from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and is a Specialist Doctor in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery after his residency at the Hospital Universitario La Paz in Madrid (2004), so he has more than 15 years of experience in his speciality. He currently works at the Hospital Universitario La Paz and the Hospital Viamed Santa Elena.

In addition, Dr. Muñoz combines his work with teaching, collaborating with the Faculty of Medicine at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and the Faculty of Dentistry at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. He is a member of the Spanish Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and the Spanish Society of Facial Clefts. He also combines this with his research work in rare diseases and new medical technologies.

Dr. Muñoz Caro is also recognised as an expert in Orthognathic Surgery and Mentoplasty, being awarded for his work with prizes such as:

• Winner of the Communication Award of the Spanish Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
• Winner of the "Healthstart" Innovation Award of the CAM.
